TURNAROUND
What ACTIMS provides to our stakeholders
Each day a turnaround is delayed can cost oilsands owners millions of dollars in lost revenue through the loss of production. For this reason and many others, ACTIMS was created to ensure potential workforce shortages are recognized early by identifying and analyzing the demand for skilled and qualified workers. We match this demand with available talents to determine if we have overages or shortages of specific skills.
In the event workforce shortages are identified; we ensure all necessary government documents are completed in a timely fashion. ACTIMS does this so our owner stakeholders don’t have to face delays in acquiring foreign workers.
Additionally, we oversee and manage programs that ACTIMS stakeholders identify through the Board of Directors. Our participating owners are based out of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Fort McMurray, Alberta.
ACTIMS goal is to ensure that the owner stakeholders have successful turnarounds and ongoing maintenance projects are fully staffed with skilled, qualified, experienced, professional tradespeople. A successful turnaround is one that is completed safely (no injuries) with no labour issues and is completed as per schedule.
